Publisher SNEG have announced that the classics Witchaven and Witchaven II: Blood Vengeance will be vanishing from stores on June 15th. No reason was given for why the games are going to vanish, but they've been given a big discount so you can pick them up to keep for cheaps.

Confront witches that have cast a shadow of evil spells shrouding you in the never-ending darkness. Witchaven II:

The great witch, Circa-Argoth has taken them to avenge the death of her sister. You have only yourself and your foolish meddling to blame. But, you are not meant to die... yet! Another loss for video game preservation. Hopefully they will return to stores someday.

On a more serious note, while they are pieces of video game history, those games are, uh, not very good.
