The really interesting project NonSteamLaunchers to get all sorts of third-party launchers on Steam Deck like Battle.net, EA, Epic Games and more has now added support for Minecraft Launcher and fixed a lot of problems.
A project I recently showed off, because it can really simplify and speed up the process of installing all these various launchers directly with Proton and automatically add their shortcuts into Steam.
Since I last covered it there's been a few new releases, one of which included a contribution I made to make it work properly on desktop Linux too. As of the latest release they've also added support for Minecraft Launcher (for Java and Dungeons), fixed various bugs, optimized the code, improved compatibility across the board, added support for the Glyph launcher, added a new logo and many other small adjustments to make it work better.
My previous video on it if you missed it:
