Check out the demo for Kokoro Kitchen, a sweet farm-to-table cooking game

The 2.0 demo of the casual sweet farm-to-table cooking game Kokoro Kitchen is out now, and it really does look wonderful. It also has a Native Linux version.

In this farm-to-table cooking game help Alan restore a rundown Japanese restaurant, serve delicious meals, harvest fresh crops, and prepare special ingredients to meet all your customers’ needs.

For the 2.0 demo now live it covers 5 in-game days which includes:

• Starting cut scene and tutorial.
• 15 recipes.
• 8 upgrades.
• 1 very special NPC.

Overall this seems like a really nice mixture of gameplay features. A bit of casual farming with you planting, watering and harvesting ingredients and then you move it all through the restaurant. There's mini-games, you need to manage finances, an upgrade system, NPCs to talk to and do challenges for and much more.
