Bazzite using Fedora 43 is out now with full Xbox Ally / Xbox Ally X support

Bazzite Linux has been upgraded with the Fedora 43 release, and it comes with many handheld gaming enhancements for those wanting to break away from Windows.

With this release they've added full support for the Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X, although they note there's an issue with the Xbox Ally X above 80% volume they're currently trying to track down with the makers of the amplifier. So for now you'll need to keep an eye on that. Great to see support arrive though, since multiple reports (like The Verge) are out there about how much better the devices run with Bazzite compared with Windows.

There's also expanded support for the Legion Go 2, although it's not completely finished yet as it's missing "HDR PQ" but it also adds support for the two new buttons below the d-pad. Support for the OneXPlayer X1 Air was also added but currently missing granular TDP controls. And, the weird crypto handheld SuiPlay0X1 is also now supported.

You also get the latest GNOME 49 and KDE Plasma 6.4 desktop environments, continued NVIDIA support for older GPUs, improvements to the Bazaar app store, Steering Wheel support and more.

Overall, another fantastic sounding release from the Bazzite team - easily the best way to get something like SteamOS on various different handhelds, TV PCs and more.
