Since my opportunities to play are quite rare, I'm still mostly playing a heavily-modded TES 4: Oblivion (2006). Been a few years since I last played the game (unmodded previously). The mods are really improving the experience. As always, I absolutely love the soundtrack.

Been busy with uni work, but I've been having 20 minute blasts playing Terratech Legion. A really well put together game.

I've been playing Guns of Icarus again lately, although no one else from the GOL community has joined in yet.

I just changed my own game development from win11 to an adorable little NUC with ubuntu Budgie and Fedora KDE on it <3 But I still have to do all the music work on my win11 rig, but the plan is to migrate that workload to linux as well. Anways! Loving being on Linux, and that the most important games from STEAM library works. So I am currently replaying Disco Elysium and The Holy Gosh Darn.

playing Dyson Sphere Program, where this game did taught me how to mess with Wine prefixes(Steam games that's played with Proton have their wine prefixes reserved for save files(and anything else that needs to be stored in My documents))

DSP's proton wineprefix was mostly for replacing onedrive(used when we playing Dyson Sphere Program in native windows 10-11) for storing blueprints and savefiles

That enormous backlog of games I've picked up over the last sales. On the side I'm squeezing the achievements out of some old games that I haven't played in over a decade: Race the Sun, Garry's Mod and others.

Saw your post about it after. Didn't have much time to play games this weekend. I remember Guns of Icarus was pretty fun to play back in the days.

DiRT Rally 2.0, as usual, and I've also started a challenge run of Final Fantasy V.

Was playing (and enjoying) Enshrouded for a while, right up until the most recent patch introduced a crash bug, resulting in loss of some inventory items or quest progress with pretty much every crash, so I've been playing Windrose lately instead. It's crashed a few times too (minor, random, and not on a regular basis), but not once yet have I lost an item I spent hours farming or questing for, so I can tolerate the occasional fairly rare crash to desktop. The game itself has been mostly pretty fun.

I played mostly shin megami tensei V, but the forza horizon 6 hype train made replay a bit of horizon 4.

I recently finished Portal 2. Haven't done the co-op yet. Enjoyed it way more than the first one.

Bit late, but I am on the last stretch of original Yakuza 1 on PCSX2. It is quite stark how well it aged. Would argue games like it look far better than any current Unreal Engine 5 game being shat out.

Subnautica 2 - 20 hours and I've completed the EA content. Superb quality, really enjoyed it, thoroughly recommend.

I spent five hours on a train to London too, and randomly gave Hades a try from my backlog. Probably no surprise - it's excellent. But I particularly liked all the voice acting and story development between runs. It's going to be a game I dip into over the months to come, I suspect. I'm only 10 hours in and while I got to the end boss, he destroyed me.

Still pouring hours into Slay the Spire 2, but I also picked up Far Far West for multiplayer shenanigans with my two online pals. And I spent a couple of hours bringing myself up to speed on the latest Helldivers 2 nonsense, which remains great fun.

Oh, and I tried Exanima, a physics-based dungeon-crawler. Utterly weird. I left a lengthy Steam review which was a thumbs-up, but... not really. It's got a long way to go before I'll try it again. No regrets playing it though.
