Games For Everyone is a new podcast series from Linux For Everyone, something that should be a monthly thing to talk about the world of Linux gaming.

Featuring myself for GamingOnLinux along with the wonderful Jason Evangelho from Linux For Everyone, Gardiner Bryant, and Nick from The Linux Experiment. It's technically only sort-of new, because we all teamed up before way back in 2022 for a similar video but now there's an actual name for it.

I definitely need some better lighting as I look like an upside down lightbulb with a beard.

This is not some super-heavy technical talk, but more of a chilled out chat about the industry amongst friends so hopefully you will enjoy the casual nature of it. It's a lot of fun to do collabs like this, especially as I don't really get to do this sort of thing very often.

You can listen to the full first episode right now over on the Linux For Everyone website. There will also be some little video segments up on the Linux For Everyone YouTube channel and eventually you'll be able to watch the full video episode too hopefully next week.

You'll want to grab a coffee for the full thing, it's a good one.

For a little preview here's a clip below of some of our predictions for 2026 and beyond:

Looks awesome! Subscribed.

I'll have a listen in the car this week. It'll go along nicely with my weekly twit episode :)

Hey thanks for checking it out. The audio file should be in the RSS feed. I tested it on several podcast clients and it's serving up the episode. I'm also seeing download metrics from the podcast host. Let us know if you continue to have problems.

Thanks for sharing here, Liam! I always appreciate how your experience and healthy dose of skepticism keeps the conversation grounded. Also, we should definitely have a "Liam's Rant" section at the end of every episode 🤣

Searching for "games for everyone" in AntennaPod doesn't return this. Searching for "linux for everyone" does, and the last episode is called "Games For Everyone #1: Valve's Third Act". Is "Games For Everyone" a separate podcast to "Linux For Everyone", which AntennaPod can't see, or is it just the name of a series of episodes in the Linux For Everyone podcast?

Will the full podcast be uploaded to YouTube as well? I only watch/listen to YouTube podcasts.

Would be wild to find out in 2026, Valve had the Steam Machine processors built with OnChip eDRAM. They could skip the whole AI-Memory-pocolypse. Wild, I know.

I'm using AntennaPod and after adding the RSS feed to it it says at the top "Entry does not contain a media file". When checking the RSS Feed I can see that it is indeed missing an enclosure tag: https://www.w3schools.com/XML/rss_tag_enclosure.asp

I think it should be something like this:

Games For Everyone #1: Valve's Third Act

[other tags]

My dad had a small poster in his office that said:
"God only made so many perfect heads, the rest he covered with hair"

Hence you have a perfect head, show it off 😅

It's nice to put a face to the name! These are some very hopeful predictions, especially the idea of an anticheat focused kernel. I'm glad to see it finally getting the respect it deserves when it was previously ridiculed. Nick I recognize, but the other two hosts are new to me. Nice introductions.

Saw the thumbnail and get more excited each face I saw, this looks rad!
