Back and perhaps better than ever - Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered has officially launched with plenty of it modernised and improved. The 2003 classic action-adventure comes with graphical upgrades, a better camera and a bunch of bonus content too including a photo mode and "lost levels" from the original.

There's another in the series also coming soon, with the 2D action platformer Legacy of Kain: Ascendance set for launch on March 31st.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered Key Features

As for compatibility with Linux / Steam Deck, the early reports on ProtonDB show it working well which is nice to see.

Despite my immense dislike of LLMs, I have to admit that this usecase does not bother me.
