Begin warming up the hype machine, as it looks like Battle Royale game 'Darwin Project' might be getting a Linux version.
Category: Battle Royale
Recently on my quest for a good Battle Royale game on Linux I came across surviv.io and I was impressed, since then the developers have continued to improve it.
It's been a while since we talked about Crazy Justice, the third-person cel-shaded shooter and we have good news. Not only will it have Linux support it's also getting a Battle Royale mode.
Darwin Project takes the Battle Royale genre and takes it to a dystopian post-apocalyptic landscape in the Northern Canadian Rockies. Turns out they're open to Linux support too.
Robocraft Royale, a new Battle Royale game from Freejam (the makers of Robocraft) may see Linux support if all goes well.
Battle Royale: Unsung Heroes is another 2D Battle Royale game, like surviv.io that we recently showed off it works directly in the browser.
I know, a bunch of you are probably already running away due to it being browser-based, but I find that really quite interesting. surviv.io is actually not bad at all.
If you're like me and you love the idea of Battle Royale games, yet you're finding none of them on Linux, Islands of Nyne might be one to keep an eye on.
