Company of Heroes 2 has been updated for Linux by Feral Interactive, it brings in some important fixes as well as bring it up to date with the latest Windows-version patches.

The MMO genre is something Linux doesn't really have a lot of games in, so I am pleased every time I hear about one coming. Space Wars: Interstellar Empires is a turn-based tactical strategy MMO that will launch in January 2017 with Linux support.

Natural Selection 2 is the RTS/FPS hybrid that's pretty damn fun and it has just been updated. You can now get a new game-mode from the Steam Workshop and the entire game is free to try all weekend.

Stellaris has come a long way since the initial release, so I checked back on how it feels with the new DLC.

This dungeon crawler was fully released two months ago, on September 6th. Strangely, despite the fact that there is a demo available at IndieDB, the developers didn’t include it on the Steam store page, which would have made more sense.

SIEGE, a strategic single-player card game recently released for Linux. I love card-based combat games and it looks quite cool.

Today is a very good day, first Mad Max and now Stellaris DLC and a big patch. As usual they have a bunch of new stuff for free in the patch to go alongside a few new bits in a DLC.

It seems being a big space nerd on Linux has no shortage of good games, as now we have 'Concealed Intent' to join the ranks.

Football Manager 2017 is the latest in the line of FM games from Sports Interactive and SEGA and it supports Linux once again. The developers confirmed to me on twitter that Linux is included in the beta.

I'm always impressed by the level of effort put into 'Maia' and I think once it's finished it will be great. It has problems for sure, but this latest small patch aims to start sorting them out.

Stellaris - Leviathans is the new DLC coming out soon for the space strategy game Stellaris, and it promises some big stuff.

Oh boy, I used to absolutely adore Settlers when I was younger on my Amiga! Widelands is an open source strategy game much like the original, and a new release is on the way.

Topware Interactive have now put up a Linux beta for 'Battle vs Chess' that makes use of Wine. It's really cool to see them do this.

Topware Interactive are continuing to bring over their older games to Linux using Wine, and that's okay. The latest is Jagged Alliance 2 - Wildfire.

I do love 'OpenRA', especially fun when we did our online Linux tournament. The new release is really great too, with it implementing more of the single-player missions from the original Command & Conquer, Red Alert and Dune 2000.

Here's something fun, Shallow Space has been re-working to be an open-world space game and the beta is now on Linux. The developer said getting it working on Linux helped overall performance.

It has been nearly 7 months since the last release of the rather good looking open source RTS 0 A.D. and they only have 8 tickets left open to finish, 4 of which are patches with code basically ready.

Transport Fever is really starting to look great, and the best news is that Linux is confirmed to be a day-1 release. We also have a new gameplay video.

Paradox Development Studio’s popular empire-building grand strategy game has gotten its latest expansion. Rights of Man and the plethora of free features in the accompanying patch do much to change the game.

For those who know me, they will know I love strategy and sandbox building games. Not only that but I love things based around space and other planets. So Earth Space Colonies deserved a try.
