Shakedown Hawaii is something that popped up in my twitter feed today, and I must say it looks really rather good. Reminds me of the original Grand Theft Auto games quite a lot.
I didn't expect Deep Silver to reply to me so quickly, but it seems the Linux & SteamOS release of Homefront: The Revolution will come out alongside Windows on May 20th!
I came across a rather interesting video today about DoubleFine and Psychonauts 2. To be clear this isn't our video, but it's worth a watch. My trust in DoubleFine was already very low after Spacebase, and now I'm really not sure what to think.
I am super excited for both the Enhanced Edition upgrade of Dying Light and The Following DLC. Both will make an already good game, even better. Check out these two newer videos.
The last livestream we did was easily one of the most hilarious times I've had gaming on Linux, thanks in part to Feral Interactive for porting GRID Autosport, and also because we played with viewers who drive dirty.
We interrupt your regularly scheduled broadcasting with an important announcement. Tonight at around 7:30 PM UTC myself and Samsai will face off in a livestream. We will see if a Steam Controller can beat a mouse and keyboard.
Torment: Tides of Numenera is an upcoming crowdfunded RPG from veteran developers inXile Entertainment set in the Numenera universe, and a spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment.
Not our video, but an interesting watch and it's good to see a company speak so highly about Steam Machines and SteamOS, even if the Alienware rep is a little wrong at times.
I know it's an advert, but sometimes adverts really are quite nice. ZOTAC now seems to be stepping up their SteamOS Steam Machine hype with a trailer for their NEN unit.
I have to hand it to Alienware as they really are trying to do a push for their Steam Machine units, we have another video to show off, this time from Trisha Hershberger.
Kôna: Day One was sent to my inbox recently, and wow. As far as gameplay trailers go this has certainly captured my interest. It looks like a really good exploration, survival and adventure game.
Lon Seidman on youtube posted up a pretty decent video showing off the Alienware Steam Machine, it's worth a watch and has given me some more thoughts.
Alien: Isolation has officially been released for Linux, and continues our trend of great AAA games. I would recommend playing this from behind a pillow, with emergency pants nearby.
A new video has surfaced of the Steam Controller being used with the motion controls, it's not a Linux game, but it looks very slick, and I will for sure be testing this out in games myself.
