Citybound is an interesting sounding city-builder current in the early road towards an alpha version. We reported on it first a few weeks ago with an introduction, now it looks like it almost has some game-play.

Pixel Piracy is a game we have been following for some-time now, we first posted about it back in July of last year the day before my birthday in fact! It's changed a lot since then and is simply fantastic. We also have keys to give-away!

Planetary Annihilation is the crazy real time strategy game about planetary conquest on a massive scale. The game is thankfully native on Linux and has a new update to show off, it's all very social.

Today I took a look at Insanity's Blade a game Kickstarted at the end of last year. Insanity's Blade is a real retro-game in the sense that it feels like I'm playing on a Sega Megadrive.

As promised by our editor Cheeseness the current guys in charge of Nuclear Dawn have released version 7.1 which brings Linux out of beta and with it the ability to play with Mac and Windows users now too.

Black Ice is a fantastic looking FPS game with some RPG elements thrown in, it's awesome because it's like playing a shooter in Tron land.

So, we do know that Star Citizen will come to Linux thanks to CryEngine being on Linux. I have just found a video of the Star Citizen team getting ready for PAX and an interesting operating system is in the background.

Rimworld is the really fun sci fi colony simulator built in the style of Prison Architect. I've tested out Alpha 3 and wow, it's really something.

The Last Federation is a very good-looking space strategy game (spaceship combat woo!) that we have previewed a few times for you. It is now nearing completion and will release in a weeks time! It will of course be Linux native too.

Transistor comes from the developers of the hit game Bastion and promises plenty of sci-fi action. They have confirmed for sure Linux will come, we just don't know when.

Remember KeeperRL? That odd mix of Dungeon Keeper and Dwarf Fortress that we posted about recently is now on indiegogo looking for funds to reach a glorious "1.0" version.

Running With Rifles is a top-down tactical shooter that has hooked me in badly. If you haven't checked it out already now is a good time to do so.

Humble Bundle PC & Android 9 was already a good thing for Linux gamers, and now even more so with three more native games for Linux included as extras.

FLASHOUT 2 looks like it will revive futuristic fast-paced combat racers and that's a pretty good thing. I have been waiting for a decent game like this to arrive on Linux and this may deliver.

Hotline Miami 2 is the brutal follow-up the the indie sensation Hotline Miami and it was previously confirmed to be coming to Linux.

Sadly this one seems to have been missed, it was released last month for Linux, but as it's not a brand new game (only new to Linux) it didn't pop up as new to Linux on Steam. Ballpoint Universe Infinite is a shoot-em-up adventure game featuring artwork entirely drawn in ballpoint pen.

Tom Sparks and the Quakes of Ruin is a great looking 3D diesel-punk action-adventure game full of crazy weapons, exciting combat and exploration of mysterious underground worlds.

In Vivo is an action puzzle game with stealth elements about escaping from an alien UFO. It looks and sounds great, I suggest you take a look.

Citybound is a city-building simulator inspired by games like SimCity & A-Train. The developer has been making blog posts showing it off.

Depths of Peril is a single player action RPG with strong strategy elements. You play as a faction leader protecting the barbarian city, Jorvik, by destroying threatening monsters and completing quests.
