Title: Looking for a trustworthy programmer for a porting project

I am looking for a trustworthy programmer with pertinent experience who would be willing to work on a porting project under the condition that they would only receive payment from future game sales. The work involves cleaning up older Linux ports for re-release. Good way to get some experience in the industry. If interested I can put you in touch with the relevant parties.

I'm interested, but I would have to do it in my spare time, as I'm employed software developer. No experience in game development yet, but eager getting some. And I'm official Debian Developer. (Does that make me trustworthy? ;) )

I applied in June 2006 and the procedure ended in March 2007. While most of it probably was delay due to not enough people having time to care about applicants, there where examinations about packaging Debian stuff, bugtracking, Debian procedures and philosophy, architecture, libraries, ... You need to have a Debian package you made yourself and choose a bug in the BTS and fix it.

But then, I don't know what it takes nowadays.
