What do you reckon, can my dream come true? Please let me down gently.

They could get on the SteamOS bandwagon, but I doubt it. They seem pretty conservative.

Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'll be keeping an eye out on whatever the announcement is tomorrow (probably just a hype trailer but might show expected platforms).
Thanks for letting me down as gently as possible.

You're probably right, but I think with SteamOS around the corner the time might be just right for a change. If, for instance, they have a release schedule looking at fall this year (as is quite often the case with Bethesda's big titles) then it would coincide quite nicely with the release of the next big console (i.e. Steam Machines).
I'm clutching at straws of course. If I was a big name development studio I'd probably take Valve's perverse definition of time into consideration and wouldn't make any concrete announcements regarding Steam machines until they were actually released (if my valve-time conversion calculator is correct that should be sometime in early 2017).
