Title: Project Gordon MMORPG
mortul 27 Jul 2015
I've tried this for a bit and got hooked. The graphics are shitty right now but the dev said they will improve in later stages of development. I don't care too much about that though, I would rather have a Linux version asap. Made with Unity 5.

The following is taken from their site:

[Welcome to Project Gorgon](http://projectgorgon.com/5-welcome-to-project-gorgon)

Hi, I'm Eric Heimburg, main developer of Project: Gorgon. This is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) for PC, Mac, and eventually Linux. It has an unusual, original feel, freely mixing ideas from older and newer MMOs with a whole bunch of ideas never before seen in any MMO.

It's designed for players who want to explore a deep world with complex game systems and a tight-knit community that is friendly enough to actually chat while they group. I can talk about it for a long time, but why not just jump in? You can play a very early version of the game right now, completely free, and see for yourself if this is something you want to be a part of!

No Linux native build at the moment, no fun.

Well, it does have a native Linux client, I'm playing on it. The official launcher is broken though but there is a workaround : check Shardragon's [post](http://projectgorgon.com/forum/support/77-project-gorgon-on-linux), he created a simple in-terminal launcher.

The problem is Steam integration for the Linux build might be delayed especially if there is little interest in the game from Linux users.

Well it isn't official per se. But thanks for the information. I will check it out this weekend !

Wow, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I got that unofficial Linux launcher and started playing it for a while.
This seems like it could be a really amazing game.
