These RWD beasties are hard to keep pointing in the right direction, but on the other hand when you half-accidentally manage to throw that car around a corner in a perfect power slide, you feel like an absolute champion. That feeling is worth a fiery death or three IMHO. Wouldn't dare try this IRL of course.
This is what i get:
mnt/SSDGames/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/DiRT Rally/bin/DirtRally: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL2-2.0.5.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
'DiRT Rally' quit with error code '127'.
If possible, launch Steam from command line to check the output when 'DiRT Rally' is run.
Then, contact [email protected] with details of the output, as well as your Steam System Info.

LibSDL error is weird because i see this file on this location. Nvidia shader cache seems to be the real issue i think.I Tried Stable steam client as well as beta as well as native runtime vs steam runtime with same problem.
~/steamapps/shadercache/310560/nvidiav1/GLCacheI hope you find a fix. I'll freak out if I start getting fastest times in stages more often. At least Kallestofeles seems to be back, and despite the home field advantage, I tend to be rather slow in Finland.
i noticed all feral games have similar problem, every game reports different .so to be missing.
but i managed to get it working with a workaround:
added this to the steam launch options
LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/home/xpander/Games/Steam/steamapps/common/DiRT Rally/lib/x86_64/" %command%i have no idea why that works, as the feral script checks for this and should already point to that path.
anyway at least it works now
Hoping I'll have time for Finland this weekend, been a busy week so far.
first 2 stages went quite good.

My left trigger decided to give up last night, but I managed to macgyver the Logitech into working order once again to finish the last two stages. The poor controller is about half duct tape at this point... Hopefully it won't give up completely until I can afford to replace it.
Maybe I'll need to start making recordings, on the 3rd or 4th stage I made e front-flip salto over a rock, how awesome is that!
stage 1-3: clean runs
stage 4: crash with a puncture on the last split
stage 5: false start +10 sec penalty
stage 6: cutting the corner +15 sec
stage 7: small crash
stage 8: clean run
Xpander-style breakdown:
stage 1: Got stuck twice, once somehow in a shallow ditch, had to recover.
stage 2-4: Some small spins and crashes.
stage 5: At an early bend turned the wrong way. Kept making mistakes for the rest of the stage.
stage 6: A couple of spins, but apparently you guys did worse.
stage 7: Got stuck again, but managed to wiggle free.
stage 8: One spectacular spin. I was really close to a penalty there.
Overall very happy with my placing in the season though, maybe I can pull off third? :D
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/173250259
stage 1: small roll
stage 2: going into ditch with crash into trees + 15 sec penalty, spin at the hairpin
stage 3-8:trip into the field, some spins, crashing into fence so that it flew into the middle of road and got stuck behind it for like 10 sec.
Stage 1: Spins and visits to the forest. Somehow managed to avoid penalties.
Stage 2: Had to reverse a bit after a spin, otherwise okay.
Stages 3-5: Successfully grannied. Some mistakes, especially in the third stage.
Stage 6: Had to reverse three times...
Stage 7: Almost got stuck and had to reverse from a spin later. No penalties though.
Stage 8: Reasonably clean.
