I have Roccat Ryos MK Pro and Roccat KoneXTD laser mouse, i can make combo key combinations between those devices, use macros ofc, bind everything, change RGB and so on.

You'd need Roccat Ryos MK FX though for RGB as the PRO i have only has blue lights.

Fired? he never worked under Roccat. He was a freelancer. Roccat just sent some new hardware and helped with some documentation afaik.

and those drivers still work, i dunno hows the situation with the new device support.

After investigating a bit I found that most of the Corsair products are working fine with Linux using CKB-NEXT

I have a Razer Mamba Tournament Edition as a mouse and a Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2 (yellow switch) as a keyboard (as well as a Razer Kraken 7.1 V2) and they are all working fine with some controls (LED effects, mouse dpi etc.) enabled by [OpenRazer](https://openrazer.github.io/) and [Polycromatic](https://github.com/polychromatic/polychromatic)! :)

Hey! Not sure if this is still useful, but here is my two sense for anyone who comes across this:

Avoid anything that requires software for its features (I mean really...its kinda ridiculous to HAVE to install addition software FOR MY MOUSE).

For mice this is pretty easy since most don't go overboard on the RGB stuff. I personally prefer Zowie mice (BenQ), but that is completely imho.

For keyboards, there are a LOT available that do everything corsair/razer/roccatt do, ONBOARD. Macros+programable keys+invidual RGB keys+Mechanical.

No software, it works. It will care your settings to any PC you plug it into because everything is done onboard. I personally use a Vortex Pok3r.

I have just received today my corsair set and I am very happy with it ^_^

Everything is working fine under Linux and especially with the CKB application from AUR you can change/modify EVERYTHING you desire on all corsair products , from lighting ,animations,macros etc.

I have big thin hands and I think the keyboard is very suitable for my hands , but if you have FAT hands I think you may have a bit of a problem.
