Linux on Ninetndo Switch
razing32 Apr 26, 2018
Not sure if this isn;t old news by now , but thought I'd share since I find it interesting.

QuoteIt has now been revealed that Linux is up and running on Switch via a unique exploit which, it is claimed, cannot be patched in a future firmware update.

I really don't understand this stupid mentality why writers have to highlight piracy as a very high use case of such an exploit, In more than one article I found similar words. There's more than piracy and many people wouldn't risk bricking it anyway.

I remember when this group showed off Pokemon on the PS4. If Sony allowed the use of Linux openly on the PS4, I'd probably have the one and only reason for buying one, shame they killed it off with the PS3.

Piracy, piracy, boo! I for one find it fun when people hack devices to run what they want. However Switch is indeed not the best device to run proper Linux on.
