Who said January? January they will probably be revealed officially at CES 2019. Launch is more likely May/June timeframe (or at Computex 2019), like with new Ryzen 3rd Gen.

Naming of the GPUs is a bit odd if true, but well i guess they want to line up with the ryzen numbers and then also its marketing, so they have higher numbers than nvidia. But yeah, since the RX590 problems i wouldnt hold my hope for day 1 amazing support.

"Radeon 7" (Vega 2) confirmed.

Ouch, wasn't very impressive Keynote tbh. Radeon VII seems not that impressive in terms of power consumption and pricing. Still a 300W and can just match RTX 2080 on those 3 AMD picked benchmarks, well in the vulkan one it was ahead, but will have to wait and see some real benchmarks.

Sapphire headquarters are in Hong Kong. Feb 7th is winter time.

Better tell Australia that it's been doing it wrong for the past billion years then.

There is no GPU semiconductor industry in Australia and has nothing to do with the Navi Launch.

But reporting of such matters could be done in a more accurate format.
