I've read that it is well known bug for games using "GameMaker Studio" like "Stealth Bastard Deluxe"

I've started to try mentioned workarounds, with no luck so far.
Running inside gdb gives something similar to
XUndefineCursor () from /usr/lib/libX11.so.6, i,we tried to LD_LIBRARY_PATH to version copied from steam runtime- with no luck, even after adding bunch of libraries that was shown to be required (and already present in system) by ldd.LD_PRELOAD="./libssl.so.1.0.0 ./libcrypto.so.1.0.0" ./run.shWith libraries from Debian. Included in runtime does not seem to work.
After adding both libraries into ./lib catalog game should run fine from Steam
