@Shmerl, there are a bunch of programs that can monitor temps, like gotop, but as far as chipset temps and fan rpms, I'm pretty sure lm-sensors does, and I know that the monitor modules on the phoronix test suite can monitor both temps and fan rpms while benchmarking, but idk about just passive monitoring, but I'm pretty certain lm-sensors does that.

Yep, I've been using it for a while since I posted that. lm-sensors (and everything that can use it) reads it fine.
