Removing the like doesn’t fix it, you need to refresh either way for it to display properly. Doesn’t matter if the post already had a like or not either (I thought it might be a case of it registering as empty and not getting updated, but no).
Article comments aren’t affected, although on a related note I saw one where the columns were out of alignment:
