Initially it was made for Zdoom so maybe it won't even work
I have tried the instructions but came out empty - just the original WAD launches.
If anyone tinkers with GZdoom and mods on the regular , think you can offer any advice please ?

I downloaded the "Consolidated Wolfenstein 3D TC" archive, extracted it in /home/$yourusername/.config/gzdoom/
Open a terminal in that folder (/home/$yourusername/.config/gzdoom/Wolfenstein 3D TC) and type:
gzdoom +exec Wolf3D.cfg -file Wolf3D_Common.pk7 Wolf3D_HighRes.pk7 Wolf3D_Resources.pk3
After that, a window will ask you to launch an IWAD file, I selected the DOOM one.
I don't know well Wolfenstein 3D, but it seems to work fine! :)

That worked
Guess it didn't like me prepending the path to the various files.
Did you manage to get that HD texture thingy to work on top of it ?

For the info I found the tip there, it's the same for macOS and Linux so it worked.
