My partner and I have spent the last 3 years developing our first game "Something Ate My Alien". I do all the coding, and Kat does the art work and level designing.
Last week we built a release for Linux, and are keen to get some testers.
The game is a 2D, digging and puzzle platformer game. Think Steam World Dig or Dig Dug, with a bit of Sokoban mixed in with the puzzles and shooting action along the way. Hopefully going live in April.
You can see more about the game here on Steam: [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1047870](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1047870)
We are currently in Alpha testing on a Windows build (soon to swap to Beta, as we have everything finalized and bugs are quite low).
If anyone is interested in giving the game a go then check out our link about testing over on our forums: [http://www.somethingatemyalien.com/forums/Thread-Sign-up-for-Alpha-Testing](http://www.somethingatemyalien.com/forums/Thread-Sign-up-for-Alpha-Testing)
We would love to get some Linux users on board, and to check we haven't got any issues regarding the Linux platform.
Thanks, Rob.
