When I was replying to appe nessonic’s post wasn’t there and now it’s above mine, even though mine currently says 4 hours ago and his says 2 hours ago.

This is correct, but it was a post in the moderation queue. When approving a post, it takes the time it was originally posted. Sorry for the confusion.

Then his time of posting should be earlier than mine, e.g. 6 hours, shouldn't it?

Oh gosh, you're right. As it turns out, a while ago I actually adjusted the mod queue to change the post time to the time it was approved, as it was confusing people. However, I didn't then set ordering on comments by time instead of id, which I've done now. So it's now correctly displaying based on time posted/approved.
