1080p on 4K TV
Vinouch Sep 16, 2020
Hello,
I'm playing at resolution 1080p on a TV with native 1080p. I didn't see a game at 1080p on 4K TV so I don't know if quality image is still good as a native 1080p TV. Could you details how is the quality image of a game at 1080p on a 4K TV please in comparison of 1080p on native 1080p TV?

Depends on the TV?

In my case (a Panny), the quality is excellent.

I have a 50-inch 4K TV and I currently plat at 1080p. Image quality is still good. If your graphics card can't do 4K gaming, try 1440p.

where I live a 50inch 4K tv is cheaper than a 27inch 1440p gaming monitor.

Thanks for your feedback. It's not about the cost, I prefer play at 1080p with high settings @ 60 fps than higher resolution with low settings. And as today most of TV are 4K, I was afraid to have a regression of image quality.
