I'm guessing the Mac version is not using Vulkan, which could explain the Linux delay.

Not many open source games get this far and actually achieve a 1.0 release. These guys should be congratulated....plus they've already patched it to version 1.01!

Quoting: 1xok
Quoting: JahimselfSo I guess at the head of zenimax there are some weird people.
Donald Trump's brother - Robert S. Trump - sits on Zenimax's board of directors.
Fun fact: Donald Trump blamed brutal computer games after the last gun rampage.

After displacing Christopher Weaver from ZeniMax, the company is run by old people who have nothing to do with computer games. These people are experienced in business and do many things right, I think. But they have no real love for Games I suspect. I think they work in a similar way to the big film studios. They give the makers (Bethesda) a lot of freedom, but always make strange decisions.
That sounds about right. I had no idea Trump's brother was on the board, that does explain things.
As you say - they are good business people with no love for games...and yes the film industry is run like this too.
Sad.

Oh wow, this is huge news. All this behind-the-scenes Valve stuff gets me very excited.

Stuttering in games has numerous sources, but solving this once and for all in the driver sounds amazing. My guess...it's got something to do with Vulkan.

Tower of Time, the game that blends RPG mechanics with real time combat is now officially available for Linux

Hi Event_Horizon,

I don't see controller support for the game (which is fine), but do you know if it's playable with a Steam Controller? The couch is my favourite position these days for games, so I try and make everything work for that context (plus I run SteamOS).
