I am with GNU/Linux (OpenSUSE) nearly 20 year and always it was just better. I remember how people wonder how I write so fast in IM programs. I do investigation and discovered they write sentences in MS Word firstly and next copy and paste this in chat window. And guess? They must switch to Word and in the same time I wrote next sentences, so they mind just blows. I use IM program dedicated to GNU/Linux and use bult-in dictionary. Look how many thinks MS stolen and people are excited, like KDEConnect. Thinks I was using on Linux long time ago are introduced in Windows and people gets excited. I am not sure if I should cry or laugh. And I read big headlines: "MS create revolution!". I read article and say: really..?

Linux was always better for desktop, but market do not care about it, because MS was more popular. And there many fud and lies around it. People still telling wrong sentences, just like: „I bought Windows, because MS should pay me millions of dollars if Windows destroy my data or hardware!”. I again say: really... (people do not read agreements and eat some fud created by MS trolls and lie telling million of times becomes truth)?

I only wonder if Legion GO uses SteamOS=1 environment variable. But if not, I still will not tell people switch to Linux, because MS create one's product with some psychological tricks and spreads fud, so people probably would not switch as they tend doing currently.

On Steam Deck Civ7 is garbage, because there is no mouse emulation, or I do not known how to move mouse. Touch has issues (for example how to invoke tooltip without tap).

Epic does the same as Steam and Google (with Android). They try to create market instead conquer another. Nintendo does the same with Wii. Why Epic should compete with Valve on Linux? They decided to build one's position on Windows ARM. I think it is some sort of risk, because I think Windows is rather tied to Intel/AMD and Windows users would not change anything. But maybe it is good step, as Google, Valve and Nintendo shown?

Maybe you are right. They complains about linux and make rumors, because there is no AC solution on Linux and Linux users prefer to not install AC, so they scamming Linux users. If people move to Linux, they've lost way to spying players, etc. And they lost to 100% access to players PC. They do thinks above Anti-Virus solutions and on the same level as kernel, so sorry.

Uhmmm... I prefer to OWN my OS/PC instead of playing games. One reason is that AC systems often are rootkits and be big security hole. Companies installing anti-cheat get a way to spy users, check software they have installed, etc.

There is no reason to let malicious software working on PC only to play games.

You say about secure spying software? I think it could use SGX or AMD counter-part. MS create solution to ran this kind of enclave as part of normal software.

I do not understood. Why Valve allocates buffers, etc. As I read setenv is broken in multithread software. Why do not write overlap functions, which use mutexes? By writing overlap version, I mean wrapper.

Does anyone find that producer of League Legends also told it force new Anti-Cheat to made people live more secured? In both cases it harm Linux users. Maybe it is new trend to explain oneself by security problems. People always told: if politics will try to harm freedom, he/she always will told it is because of security.

I thought NVidia Gefore Now requires NVidia GPU, but Steam Deck have AMD APU :-)
