I am sorry to inform you that the term "protect the children" is actually used everywhere where a law would otherwise be hard to enact. All these laws popping up everywhere recently are not about children, never were and nowhere will be.

I think most politician had bad childhood, so they do everything to protect children :-D .

I am above 18, so I will tell: I have 120 years - no matter how old I am. Does telling your age should not be prohibited? Why Google, MS and other should known, how old you are?

I always told: add special tag to http, so it will inform material is for adult. Parents will install special browser on children PC, which will cut every material marked with that tag. No nonsense law!

Only we wait for quantum wireless network, so people would not buy normal PC, but only displaying device and pay subscription. Maybe world will go in this direction? I do not joke. Imagine how many resources will be preserved - only one kernel for many devices, only one code for each program loaded into memory, only one copy of constant data loaded into memory, etc.
