View video on youtube.com
But in git appear this patch of Kimmo Myllyvirta
https://source.winehq.org/patches/data/126768 [External Link]
This patch affect the witcher III (however dont is playable for now)
However needs add this register entry on direct3d for pass minimum requirement dialog box
To go past the dialog box, you must allow the Wine D3D implementation to use a recent version of OpenGL.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D]
"DirectDrawRenderer"="opengl"
"UseGLSL"="enabled"
"MaxVersionGL"=dword:00040005
Then import it into the registry with the following command : wine regedit d3d.reg.
This will allow Wine D3D to use OpenGL 4.5.

Quoting: boltronicsNative is better much less complicated than wine (wine is usefull but native is more affordable for final user)Quoting: liamdaweThe problem is the same as always, people will claim Wine is great, but in reality it fails miserably at too much.Let's see...
Even games rated "Platinum" often still require tweaks and end up having lots of issues. Native all the way.
https://systemsaviour.com/finished-games/ [External Link]
78 games "finished" (as in completed the single player campaign) under Wine. 56 games finished using native builds. Speaks for itself really.

And needs have d3d11, d3d10, d3d10core and d3d10_1 disable in winecfg (wine prefix on windows xp) but if stay activated appears warning about not supported hardware

First thanks for patch
In my case appears huge performance improvement

System Specs used in Test
Nvidia Drivers 367.36.02 (run package from nvidia homepage)
Xubuntu 16.04 64Bit - Kernel 4.4.0-34 generic (ubuntu mainline) - CPUFreq: Performance
CPU: INTEL Pentium G3258 (Haswell 22nm) 4.1Ghz + Artic Cooling Alpine 11 Plus
MEMory: 8GB DDR3 1333 (2x4) Patriot value (dual channel: 21.3 gb/s)
GPU: Zotac Nvidia Geforce GT630 (GK208 28nm: 384 Shaders / 8 ROPS) Zone Edition Passive Cooling 2GB DDR3 1800Mhz 64Bit (14.4Gb/s)
MAINBOARD: MSI H81M E33
Before patch game dont pass 20fps (in heavy scenes at begins 15fps like begin scene: tornado scene) without forget constant freezes (unplayable)*
But now game runs above 40 to 45fps on heavy scenes and upper 50 / 60fps on light scenes and stable
Without recording performance up 6fps more
*Still modified settings in LifeIsStrangeEngine.ini located on:
/home/yourusername/.local/share/feral-interactive/Life Is Strange/VFS/Local/My Games/Life Is Strange/LifeIsStrangeGame/Config/
Some settings used in this file are:

[SystemSettings]
DynamicShadows=True to False
MotionBlur=True to False
MotionBlurPause=True to False

The Wine Development Release 1.9.16 Is Now Available
7 Aug 2016 at 7:44 pm UTC
*Same case as life is strange native where you cant run game (weak cpu)
Maybe could try upgrade your cpu (intel haswell at 4ghz or upper is highly recommended) or wait next year for zen
^_^

Quoting: manero666Nice too see all these d3dx10 improvements! I also own Just Cause 2 and can't wait to play it!But your cpu is too weak* (for DX10 needs more cpu)
The original Metro should work fine, but check the Wine apps database [External Link] because it probably needs some tweaks
Tomb raider works super fine with Wine!

Now the real test will be Grand Theft Auto 5.
