Not a comment on EAC specifically, but I don't understand as Fromsoft as a developer, how can you look at their experience with AC6, and go "hey, let's try that multiplayer thing again!".

Quoting: CyrilIt gets "better"... check out these "original" graphics:Quoting: CaldathrasLike Diablo II: Resurrected, they built in the ability to swap between the original or remastered graphics. This is always a nice feature to see, a few games did that too, and it's cool.
But yeah Blizzard is doing shit, doesn't change that.
Out of curiosity, I watched some videos of comparison between the original Warcraft I & II games and the remasters, and it's just awful AI upscale...

This is a new low for Blizzard. The cease and desist letter from a while ago to that open source warcraft project compared to EA's collaboration with OpenRA to make their C&C remasters. What a weird timeline we live in.
Check out the fancy new trailer for Beyond All Reason a really great free and open source RTS

Gorgeous! I keep reminding the same every year: this game keeps getting improved, and so fast, in so many ways, meanwhile Supreme Commander development stopped a long time ago...

Quoting: GuestOK, I think that I see lots of people overestimating how niche this genre is at this point. I would like to be wrong on this, I'll get back to you in September.Quoting: ElamanOpiskelijaTerminator Dark Fate Defiance was not made by the same company (Cats Who Play), rather it used their engine and they were consultants on the project, nothing more.Quoting: GuestTerminator Dark Fate Defiance is already out, the game's lobbies are already rather empty, and a safe bet that Front Edge is not going to do any better. I think we are heavily underestimating what it takes to get a stable player base like MoW or CoH has.Quoting: ElamanOpiskelijaCame to say this, more or less. Can any of the critics present us with that great alternative, recent or upcoming game that is even better than MoW2? (Spoiler alert: we have already seen and played demos of MoW2 and Broken Arrow)I recommend "Front Edge" its new and more content is being added by the devs everyday. And its modern war
Front Edge has 5x more players in one day than Terminator did at its peak - and this is just in the beta/demo version (full version will be on steam in september). See numbers below:

Quoting: soulsourceOnly in GOL we can get the luxury of reasonable takes like this. Steam forums, on the contrary...Created in Unreal Engine 5And here we have our reason why it performed poorly initially. Getting Unreal 5 games to run well takes quite a bit of work...

Quoting: bakgwailoWell, looks like my long running save is screwed now. Also had a bunch of visual glitches (and a segfault) after update, but, that might be from my old save. Given I had conquered about half of the map in Immortal Empires, I feel rather disincentived to play much more if my saves are trash after updates.I am sorry that you lost your save, but at the same time amazed of what Creative Assembly can get away with, and yet the player base remains stable or growing...
