Garuda, to be honest, starting to give issues after a few years, but it was a good run... almost 3 years with Garuda now.

Quoting: tuubiGaruda for the desktop, and Mint for the really old laptop, which had rolling distros for many years but I don't feel like abusing that poor old Intel anymore.Quoting: ElamanOpiskelijaI just wanted to play games... why are you guys forcing me to think? What's forcing me to think is the blatant conflict between your avatar image and the distro icon next to your name.
(Just kidding. I'm pretty sure liking more than one distro is allowed.)

Quoting: tpauA proper Remake for C&C Generals would be great.Or Red Alert 2. I am thinking the same. With C&C remastered already out, and OpenRA, it's hard to go back to these.

Quoting: Linux_RocksI think that screen flicker bug that got fixed was the same one that I was seeing in GZDoom while in the Doom menu. I was wondering WTF was up, cause I hadn't seen it like that before. lolPerfectly good game choices, I am more curious about the heavy investment of a 4090, and yet running it on Linux.
Yes, I play Doom and Chex Quest on a 4090. 👀

Age of Empires IV gets a fix for Steam Deck / Linux online play desyncs

I had to read this article several times.
- Microsoft... has fixed...
- Wait, Valve?
- NONONONONO... MICROSOFT... has fixed... they have fixed... their game to run on Linux.
This is a very long standing, very prolific issue. These are the same binaries needed to fix the online desyncs for Age of Empires 2, Mortal Kombat 11... very recently Tekken 8.
Proton normally doesn't address this (think AoE2-old) so I never expected this to be fixed by Valve, so I recently recommended someone just to never play Age of Empires 4 on Linux.
So in summary, Microsoft just shut my mouth big time.
Anyway I will still maintain, this is not a game to play with gamepad controllers!

I see the similarities and to me Palworld clearly looks like a parody. But, is it such a problem that all these people are having fun?

Oh no! It's a pity that we can only play actual DotA on native Linux rather than fake DotA. Likewise it's a pity that we can play CS natively on Linux, and not counterfeit wannabe-CS Valorant.
