Wow, first time I heard of this, but it's not too surprising, since I pretty much stopped following open source game releases after the demise of happypenguin.org a.k.a. The Linux Game Tome.

Quoting: EikeI found this one, games supported with more than a million...Ok, but why? What's in it for the society/country? Most of the time I don't have an idea what country a given game is made in until Steam puts it on a country-focused sale, nor do I care. From the list, I only ever heard of a few and only because they are sequels. Also what the hell is "codename mashed potato" at #5?

I am silently hoping Ubi will pick it up as a white label, and even more that Valve will build something similar (Neon Prime?).

Quoting: GuestYes, on Stadia you could just buy a game and play it without limits, no need for any subscription.Quoting: RandomizedKirbyTree47Would they have gone to Stadia in the first place?Thankfully, Cloud Gaming fans still have the likes of GeForce NOW, Xbox Cloud Gaming and LunaWhere do cloud gaming fans who don't like subscriptions go?

I really don't like the idea of publishing a remake where the original authors don't get a cut.

Quoting: mr-victoryYeah, Rockstar has already announced it will be possible to transfer the progress in Red Dead Online to another platform, but I don't know if it also applies to story mode, we'll see. Maybe I will manage to 100% it before stadia shuts down and won't have to rebuy it on steam. I don't particularly care about the multiplayer part or finding all collectibles etc.Quoting: pbI wonder if I will still be able to play until Jan 18th if I receive the refund(s) earlier. Currently at ~80% in RDR2. :whistle:https://9to5google.com/2022/09/30/how-to-export-download-game-saves-stadia/ [External Link]
You can export game saves, I don't know if they are compatible with PC builds of a game though.
