A French court has ruled that Valve should allow people to re-sell their digital games

That's it, I'm telling my son right now to stop dreaming of developing games. This basically legalises keyshops and now even allowing you to sell the games you're already played and finished, if it wasn't bad enough before...

How does the script work? I mean the one that pauses the recording when you run to the toilet? Does it need some external sensors?

I hope they add sorting by user reviews, by achievement completion, and ability to sort both ways (reverse the sort order).
That, plus OR in filters and I'll be happy. It's a really good update and I'm sure they'll improve it over time.

There are topics you should avoid at all costs if you're running a business or a non-profit. It's amazing how many people keep slipping on that simple rule.

SummVM, paired with Steam/GOG, lets me play all the adventure games I've missed by never having DOS or Windows. :-)

Proprietary office suite? Software store? I thought Manjaro was just arch with more conservative approach to packages, but it seems that it's to Arch something like Ubuntu to Debian? I'll stick with the vanilla distro, thank you very much. ;-)

It seems quite fun. ;-) Anyhow, wasn't Civilization always a kind of battle royale anyway? ;-)

Unique tower-based strategy game Protolife is heading to Linux, needs more testing

Haven't played it, but the concept does seem a lot like Creeper World, so not super unique. ;-)

I used to love KDE, using it all the way through v2 and v3. When they released KDE4, I promptly switched to gnome 2. Then came Gnome 3 so I switched to Mate. With Mate losing momentum in favour of Cinnamon, I switched to XFCE and I never felt the need to switch again (though I have sometimes tried other DEs, including newer versions of KDE). The worst thing about open source is that all the time people break something that is working well, and the best thing about open source is that there are always plenty of alternatives to switch to. :P

The FOSS 2D game engine GDevelop continues advancing the 5.0 release

I've been tempted to try Construct3 (my kid is looking to level up from Scratch but Godot scares him) but I hate their subscription model. GDevelop might be quite what I needed.
