Quoting: Durandal... and the current version being delisted, as usual. A bit of burying the lede there.
Though I personally get it, VIII for example, there's the Remastered and just VIII, which one should I choose?

Quoting: ExplosiveDiarrheaGood, x86 has to go away.
I know not many of us have to go that low, but for those who have to, x86 is nice.
Thanks for your interesting write up. From what I heard I always thought x86 asm is a mess. Nice to hear other opinions.

Quoting: tuubiFor the ones commenting on the lack of HDMI 2.1, AMD isn't allowed to implement the standard in their open source kernel driver.

That said, my 7800XT does 4K@120Hz just fine, connected via HDMI to my LG OLED TV. VRR (FreeSync Premium) works as well, and is active according to the TV. Don't know about HDR as this machine is still on X11.
If you don't use an adapter it's using YUV420. You would especially see this on fonts.

Dragon Quest 3 also had Denuvo, 6 months later they removed it. I guess this will happen with this game as well.

Music and art style to me it seems is heavily inspired by Chrono Trigger.

Can 2025 please be the year more games add Text and UI Scaling

I have perfect vision, but still want this as well.
I play games on my screen, tv and steam deck. For example Final Fantasy IV 3D is perfect on the deck, but the UI is way too big for screen or TV. Other games are too small for TV and too small for the deck.
With TV in general, people have very different sitting distances to it, so UI scaling makes sense from that perspective already.

Quoting: ElectricPrismThe amount of time required to research addons and configure Kodi is too much of a entry barrier. I would rather save my time and throw money at something to save me my time. I would even buy Kodi Plus or something if it meant a system that went toe to toe with SmartTV functions without the nonsense in a FOSSy way. It's totally okay to sell FOSS @Kodi. (Eg: Redhat, Ubuntu, Linux Autos, etc..)
Since I found Plex and now Jellyfin, I have no use for Kodi anymore. My experience is the same as yours, a lot of configuration and plugins and the controls are bit hard.
