Thanks! I was thinking it was under their project not it's own thing!

Steam Deck a 'stable target for a couple years' so no Steam Deck 2 for a while

Quoting: GuestI love my Deck but I do wonder just how many years it really has in it to stay relevant. It's a delicate balance between keeping a good hardware target and being able to actually handle games until the next, but I feel we're already seeing it at the end of its limit with newer releases, so a few years from now does seem a long way off.
I think it primarily depends on whether or not developers are willing to optimize their games for the Steam Deck.
This is a great point, I mean look at the Switch it was released on 2017 (there have been refreshes but nothing major) and it's still going strong. Not so well with MK1 and such it shows that developers can care if the market is there.

Quoting: ArehandoroPerhaps I've been out of the market for too long, but I find $329 for a case insane.
They do exist:

Quoting: raggytherecondI like System76 and their mission, but no cleanable dust filters anywhere is a no buy, especially when they're recommending air based CPU coolers. At less than half the price I can get a Fractal Meshify 2 Compact that has easily removable and cleanable top/front/bottom dust filters. I'd be willing to swallow the 2x price if System76 had filters.

Maybe by the time I need to do a new build they'll have dust filters
There are dust filters for the case fans.

Quoting: benstor214To me, they don’t seem like being optimized for air flow. And I don’t find them very aesthetic, not even in a stealthy way - which is also very subjective.
They are optimized for air flow, the Thelio line has been air flow designed from the beginning.

Quoting: GuestI've always wanted to buy just a Thelio case - the wood grain totally works for me. This.. not really. So close but still out of reach.
You know you can change the accent right? You can get the one with the wood grain instead.
I wasn't sure, did I miss that? If these are customizable, then this case is back on the menu.
You did but no worries it's tough to tell with the accent in the photo but it does use the same system so you can get the wood accent if you want.

Quoting: denyasisIt's a very smart looking case. I'd totally consider this for my next ITX build (if I can fit a full size GPU in there, lol)
in a follow up post on the mastadon thread, he says there will be three versions of the case, from mini all the way to eatx. I bet the middle and big one should support a full gpu no problem.
The base Thelio can support a GPU as well, the middle one or larger might be better for the GPU's with 3 fans though.
