I don't know these values of any card, so just for the records: Most important for average computer users is probably the power draw at normal desktop usage, not the last Watt a card could possibly pull during a high demand game.

The power draw is use dependent in GloomWood pre release my RTX 3090 is pulling about 180 watts, in Postal 4 a janky still in evelopment hame its pulling 270 -290 watts tops with 120 plus FPS at 2560 x 1080.

as rig doubles for editing I put in a 3090 rather than 3080 and have had plenty of use from it, but a 4090 means new rig so not yet as would need new PSU and new platform./

I'm wondering about the NvFBC entries though, I thought that feature is only available to quadro cards? I mean, there is the "nvidia-patch" repo which enables NvFBC for consumer cards, and I can highly recommend it especially when using OBS with the obs-nvfbc plugin, as it improves performances significantly over the "normal" desktop capture of OBS. And I don't have many regrets patching the driver, as it's really just a software flag, the hardware is totally capable... it's just this feeling doing stuff outside of official support.

I had to revert to 510, as multiple games refused to load in Steam with the 515 driver and the missing 32 bit libs might try that patch repo, if it works OK with RTX cards

Addendum, re-installed 515 is all working now.

Wrath of Aeon similar but Hands of Necromancy well worth a shot, as is going back to Heretic and Hexen via Doomsday Engine, Heretic especially with the Jheretic model pak

not that big in some games Guru3D found around 5 fps to be an average, at higher resolutions. Assassins Creed Valhalla at UHD 2 fps in it loses out to the AMD6900XT at QHD and FHD 2 fps difference between 3090 and 3090TI at QHD
Cyberpunk 2077 similar not worth an upgrade from a 3090 at the price and the extra power draw. Those figures were in Win 10.
