I was pleased to see the update of 25MB in the download queue. Started the game , the logo sequences play through and then it sits on a blank black screen. I left it there for 10 minutes in case it was normal. It does Alt - tab and also f4 out. Downloading the whole thing again. I can try again in 5 hours.

I find that I'm buying the games to support Linux gaming, and there's not enough time to play them all, so I've seen many intros and tutorials, really just to register the game as a Linux purchase.
Keep coming back to Duke Nukem 3D and Half Life , easy to pick up and just carry on.
Nightmares from the deep was better than I expected.
Also playing Darkplaces Quake, Doom 3 BFG (Linux Engine installed via PlayDeb)
Goat Simulator is fun.
Had a go at driving my "Euro Truck" around Birmingham, I need 'L' plates.
Trying out some GOG games too, with some old familiar games, Hocus Pocus , Flatout 2.
Waiting to see if they wrap Blood for Linux.
There was a sale on, so I did try Dungeon Keeper2 (via PlayOnLinux) which was nice.

Hi Liam
I'm sorry to hear that you are going through a difficult time currently.
I hope you can find the strength to get through it all.
I really wish you all the best for the future.
I also would like to thank you for such a great site, I'm addicted to it since I discovered it last year.
The news, reviews and throughput has been fantastic.
So glad to know that you are still on the sidelines and I look forward to your return.

Long live GOL.
Thanks to ElectricPrism for mentioning RSS feed - I didn't realize it was there.
