I'll be honest, I'm not fully happy until all the flagship franchises arrive on Linux. GTA, Fallout, anything from BioWare, that stuff.
Not necessarily on day one, but within the following year. And I don't mind there being a eON layer in between or anything like that, as long as the performance is good enough.

But I can't be a fully happy gamer without having the biggest guns in my arsenal.

Quoting: Beamboomyeah I believe it's confirmed to be cross platform. It's awesome that even Playstation is included. I hope that will be the norm some day.

dunno, as for rocket league the utility of having cross platform multiplayer stops at having a larger playerbase as they really don't communicate or can be added as friends

The player base is really all I care about in this respect - I've played too many deserted multiplayer games. They are, quite obviously, worthless.

This game looks like fantastic fun, love the setting.
But I really really really hope there's players online during my (CET) time zone. Purchasing 100% multiplayer games are such a risky affair.

I must say I'm surprised about Cities: Skylines receiving that many votes. Apart from that it all looks fine although only one of my favourites won. :)

And co-op too?
Every game gets better with coop (if you add a good buddy to the mix). So now it only needs to be a mediocre single player game and still be worth it :)

Great to see so many enjoying Saints Row IV and Divinity! It really was two of the absolute best Linux releases in 2015.

Quoting: GuestSaints Row IV. I normally don’t like third person shooters but this one is super fun (after a somewhat boring beginning).

Woooot? I thought the beginning (if you mean the very beginning, the introduction to the story, that ended with climbing that rocket) had a big juicy layer of epicness from the get-go!

If you mean the first few missions after that then yeah, it gears down and builds up again.
But I think the superhero skills were very well implemented. I really do have a lot of fun, and think it's a very smooth experience.

XCOM 2 is starting to look mighty interesting

I was very happy when I gave Divinity: Original Sin a spin and thought the xmas was set. Finally a RPG for Linux with the production values I look for. But then... I fired up Saints Row 4. Mainly just to have a peek and check the performance, but discovered that this game was a lot better than I expected. And runs like a charm.

As a Matrix fan I just loved the setting so much - and when I discovered the space hub was one giant homage to my favourite game franchise of all time, Mass Effect, well then I was sold. Highly recommended if your preferences are anywhere near mine.

Oculus Rift VR headset will support Linux after release, looking like it's going to be pricey

Quoting: tony1abIf you have boys, you buy VR for them, not for you.

... but not if I got girls? Get out of here. I got two girls and you be damn sure I'll share my gaming gear with them, and let them have their own gear as the time is right for that. The oldest is four and she's already fought her way up to the third world in LEGO Online. She loves that game, collecting figures and collectibles. I've only helped her with a couple of bosses.
