In my not so humble opinion I believe this game is quite possibly the best game for Linux right now. It clearly at least belong to top 3. If I had to rate games across genres.

I mean, I'm not even a strategy fan. So I treat and play this game like a RPG, and totally love my crew. I've never experienced that in any other game of this genre, ever.

I think their primary problem was their strategy to have the users create the content, aka "pvp". Big failure. It sounds so great on paper, just create a sandbox and keep the servers running, and wait for the steady income to begin. So, SO many small studios try that route. But it doesn't work like that. It's not that easy.

It really stings me that Metro Exodus doesn't come to Linux, considering the earlier games did.
It bothers me more than it should, but I felt that at least we had those guys on our side. The Metro games are really great too, it's far, faaar too far between games of that level on Linux.

Maybe... But I'm totally open for filing that under "charming" and not be too affected by it. :)

It's strange if that's the case though, one should believe that voice actors of this calibre could/would comment on that.

Why not? I mean, if it's worth it it's worth it, isn't it? So, if they held back the windows version until the Linux version were ready (now) you'd buy it, but since Windows received it first you want to, what, punish the devs?

A good game is a good game, and it's not like this was released a decade ago on Windows. :)
