Quoting: Pollux568In fact, we have just tested a native version on Ubuntu, and it works - with a few bugs however.
Just be patient :)
That's what we like to hear. :)

Testing on Linux using Wine... And nobody are going to comment on that? I mean... Seriously? How is that a test on Linux at ALL? "Hey I used a Windows library to test Windows binaries on Linux.... And it works! We got a Linux port already! That was easy..."

Sadly, juding by the clip below the (assumingly) windows version doesn't seem to have any performance issues at all. So this seem to be another case of Linux being a second rate citizen. :(

I don't buy Early Access titles - but I'll let my voice be heard with my wallet once it's out and have proven to be worth it!

Can you hear that? It's the Steam sales train and it's arrived, also Steam Wishlist revamp

Quoting: sn0rlaxPerhaps someone can enlighten me on why Victor Vran is recommended. I bought it and it's the worst performing game I've ever played. Seems like a garbage port. Are you getting good performance from it?
No problems here, ran smooth on my system. And it is indeed a quite good game too. A bit oldschool feel to it, but still entertaining. The only thing that annoyed me was that in coop you both play with a Victor character. That's stupid in this day and age.

Quoting: Alm888(well, and to entertain myself, ).
.. and it is the entertainment factor I'm focusing on. Let's continue the game, maintain the entertainment? It MAY be that you'll laugh the last laugh! Delays have happened before.

Quoting: Alm888No Tux == No Bucks, basically.
A rule I adhere to 100%.

Quoting: Alm888So, this announcement basically changes nothing.
I consider your reasoning as flawed. If you look at this particular instance, Feral, they've so far never not delivered on their words. Not once. So from an odds perspective, this is almost a guarantee. You can't include the track record of Virtual Programming (or whoever) when estimating the odds for Feral delivering on their words. That leads to poor conclusions, and bad bets. :)

Quoting: Alm888Doesn't count, sorry.
Feral can say whatever they want, until it gets release it is not here.
Oooh - do I sense a fighter? Alright, I'll offer a new chance to win those €10:

The current €10 are - let's be honest here - lost. It will release this year. But what if I say that it will be released within the first half of this year - ergo before first of July this year.
So, if it releases on July 1st or later, you will win the original pot of a game of choice for €10 / USD12 on my expense. But if not, I win again - meaning I got a pot of 10x2 = 20€ to spend on your expense.

What say you?

Quoting: Alm888Don't get me wrong, your chances have risen dramatically right now, I acknowledge that.
My odds were always good :)
