Oh man how much I love this setting. So much so that I think I'll be able to push aside my tiredness of turn based mechanics and enjoy this one to the max.
Project 5: Sightseer looks like a brilliant open-world sandbox game, releasing next month

Looks like a very worthy contester for the spot currently held by 7 Days To Die!
Edit: uh wait... No character, only vehicles? Whyyyy?!

Clash of Robots is a pretty terrible mobile-port fighting game

But I assume it's done in Unity.

Quoting: AnxiousInfusionSo the game sucks, but how was the port? Is it native? Did they at least do a decent job there?... Who cares, really? :-D

Planet Nomads is about to get a lot more interesting

They will have to add a really, REALLY interesting story and locations for me to bother playing this alone. Sandbox games are just so lonely and meaningless to play all alone now that we're used to play them in company of friends.
Last time I tried it (I purchased it based on the multilayer coop) it felt like a mmorpg without players. Just as meaningless fetch quests, static characters, poor dialogues...
This game would have been something... Ten years ago?

Quoting: tuubiThey are modern takes on a classic cRPG formula, more specifically that of Baldur's Gate. There's an overarching story with optional side quests in a well-developed, lore-filled fantasy world. Plenty of freedom in character development and several party members to recruit, all with their own unique stories and personal missions.Fantastic, thanks alot.

How linear are these games? Is it more or less a fixed path, a dungeon crawler of sorts?
Space Pirates And Zombies 2 releases in full with great Linux support

Naming a game after two of the main components is in essence just stupid. I mean, how unimaginative is it possible to get?

Quoting: Purple Library GuyI suppose. But certainly the first game was about space pirates . . . and zombies . . . so, seems pretty descriptive.Yeah. And Fallout is about loot and mutants. Rocket League is about jumping and goals. Divinity: Eternal Sin is about magic and investigation. Dying Light is about zombies and survival.

Quoting: ArdjeThe title is bad... I thought yet another zombie kill kill kill nostory whatsoever, or another arcade space thing.Agreed - this series seriously needs to change its name :D It's just dumb and doesn't do justice to the game at all. Sounds like a stupid speculative way to coin off the (fading) zombie craze.
SteamOS is still alive with a new Beta, although it's a rather uninteresting one

Now HAD Valve put enough behind it, I think we might have had one more gaming platform both amongst console and PC gamers under the Xmas trees this year.

Quoting: LeopardValve don't have magical powers to turn gaming industry and it's dynamics such a short time.I disagree. Remember the momentum around launch: A multitude of hardware manufacturers supporting a Steam Machine, a huge lineup of promised games (witcher 3,Batman, Evolution (or what it was called again) etc. A lot!).

This game here should be in every Linux gamers library, for so many reasons.
Do it, buddy.
