well dont forget that he is a former employee,a former employee is someone who worked for a company in the past but no longer does ...Rich Geldreich has left Valve.
Geldreich was involved with Valve's OpenGL and Linux efforts and has spoken at Steam Dev Days, GDC, SIGGRAPH, and other conferences along with contributed to some open-source projects.
As a foot note to his latest blog post, Rich Geldreich says he is no longer working at Valve nor is he contributing anymore to the Valve VOGL OpenGL debugger targeting game developers. He didn't shed anymore light on his departure and offhand I am not aware of what company (if any) he's ended up at for now. So I am thinking that his holding something up against Valve.
I think he left from Valve around May so I dont know how much Valve has improved the VOGL OpenGL Debugger.
SteamOS isnt done at all it just started...

Quoting: wingofacrowWait, since when were these missions available?Thats the best fps with sharks I have ever seen ^^
I was waiting for something like this for quite a while. Even though, I kind of regretted buying this game as I have a rather exaggerated fear of sharks and buying this was like accepting my nightmares, for as soon as I clicked the purchase button I stopped for a few seconds wondering what I just did. Well, I guess it's time to update it!

ok is good to play the old games , childhood memories but I really dont see the reason of doing this!
For this you have DOSBOX, I dont want SteamOS to become SteamBOX, I wonder if they gonna start doing the same with other console emulators like MAME, SNES etc and start selling the games where you can get them for Free. And Dragonshere is Free on GOG btw...
My opinion is that these games should be FREE, it will be good for the new generation to be able to play these kind of games and see how good games were done and also experience the games of what their fathers were playing when they were at their age.....but yeah everyone needs $$$$!

It plays fine on Manjaro as well, no glitches or anything else.
Played the tutorial, But the gameplay it drives me a bit crazy, having troubles with controlling the characters, casting spells, fighting etc
I got Baldurs Gate 2 as well as a gift just to have it there in case Linux kicks in...
according to steamdb is very close as well...

Feral Interactive Wish To Know Why You Game On Linux

Linux is like a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster(one of the most expensive cars) where you can drive it ONLY at specific streets, that means you have all the luxuries and comfort in the whole world but limitations are the streets that dont allow you to drive it wherever you like.....
Windows is like a patched luxury car/truck combo where you can drive it wherever you like without a problem, it may run perfectly and take you to your destination or it may have an engine failure during the trip.....
Personally I prefer to drive a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster and hopefully more streets will be available in the future... ;)
