My biggest indicator of success came when I got an email from a customer who was using their Deckmate system to allow them to mount their Deck to their leg.
He's creating cyborgs!
I wonder if this is about some disabled person, because of the heart melting...
(I could see a disabled relative having use for such a setup.)

Absolutely a big YES to that. Sensible Soccer is the only football game i even realy played(yes, it is actually Football, and that ball carrying game is something else)
Looking at the extremities used, they might better have called it handball. :D

Quoting: tuubiI'll skip the demo. Grundislav's past work is enough to guarantee a place on my wishlist.
Same her.

Although... if the demo is not part of the full game, I'd play it. Anybody knows?

So I got four of four of my backed games delivered for Linux (plus two not yet released at all). :)

I find it makes a big difference when a game has a demo, and it absolutely should be mentioned in the article.

So, here you go: The game has got a Linux demo!

Quoting: EikeHm? I own several native Linux games from Thunderful Publishing... (but no Lego game seen yet)
I only used the search on GOG.com and it didn't catch Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit because it was co-published by Headup and the SteamWorld games are self-published by developer Image and Form for some reason.
Yeah, that looks strange. SteamWorld Dig (recommendation, especially the second one!) is listed in the publisher's list [External Link], but on the game pages there's "Image & Form Games" noted as publisher. Whatever...
This might be a clue as to why, the game website gives a 404 and the homepage redirects to Thunderful, who mention on the SteamWorld games pages as developer "Image & Form (now Thunderful Games)", so they bought them out.
Ah! Looks like a merger:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_%26_Form [External Link]

So, yes, they had a Linux history already.
But for sure it's nice to see a Lego game natively on Linux!

Quoting: Purple Library GuyI too have been getting the feeling that, rather to my surprise, and despite some high profile counterexamples, I'm seeing a bit more native Linux releases than before the Deck.
I spent a bit of time on SteamDB checking the numbers.
Thanks for bringing numbers!

My little grain of salt: Sometimes, old games are ported to Linux (like Wadjet Eye's). So even with a constant rate of porting, I'd expect the numbers for years longer ago to be a bit (but not hugely) higher.

Quoting: LightkeyAh, Bridge Constructor (also released for Linux) developer from Germany, no surprises there. What's surprising is that LEGO/Thunderful Publishing went along with it, as it's their first Linux title. I wonder if ClockStone even mentioned it to them..
They are actually from Austria. Since they are from my hometown I am picky about that...
Isn't that the same?!? ;)

To say something more constructive: Happy cake day!

Quoting: elmapulwell i guess that goes to those naysayers who thought native support were more important than marketshare...
proton made it sustainable to grow the marketshare , and the marketshare made it commercialy viable to offer native support again.
it has been a long time since we heard an big brand natively supporting linux and i think we will start to see it again.
Really? You're seeing an increase of native Linux games? I don't, and I sure am looking. This is just one lucky case of a development team having their Linux build and test under control and not having given up yet (unlike others).
