775 [External Link].
Do we have means to filter these (or get counts) by reason of being Unsupported?

XCOM 2's multiplayer being removed but will still work on Linux and Steam Deck

Quoting: PublicNuisanceWell you can believe what you want but I believe one can either be part of the solution or part of the problem.
Sorry, but this overused sentence doesn't tell us - at all - if X is a viable solution in the first place.

I've got 20% Playable+ now, 10 games (2.8%) "Unsupported", 8 of the latter false positives AKA "Valve is working on..."

Quoting: VulphereNow we have official confirmation :)
Being steam deck verified isn't an official announcement from EA that they support it, right?
True, but it certainly feels closer to Portal 2 than to Destiny 2.

Even as someone who doesn't usually like playing through Visual Novel styled games, I can safely tell you this is one that manages to push through. It's genuinely interesting, with some pretty great writing and surprising events that will hook you right in.
Same boat here!
Waiting for it to be fully finished after having played episode one. :)

Is it some fun playing on one's own, not paying anything and ignoring squads and whatever?

Here's how to transfer files from your PC to a Steam Deck

Did I understand correctly that enabling developer mode (or something alike) would allow me to install KDEConnect easily? I love that little one.

OT question: I guess Windows has something comparable? (Controlling media player and YouTube replay from phone, having phone notifications on PC and vice versa, sending SMS from PC, transferring files, sending custom commands to PC, ...)

XCOM 2's multiplayer being removed but will still work on Linux and Steam Deck

Quoting: LachuI have bought this game, but never install it. Maybe give it try? I do not have much time to play and can play too many games. In fact, I do not have drive space to install each game I can play.
It took me 60 hours I think... On the other hand, it might be suitable to play a round (one fight) and leave it again. For sure a great game.

Bungie has more to say on Destiny 2 for Steam Deck and it's still a no

Quoting: GuestThis is when it annoys me when people think Stadia=Linux. Its better to think of Stadia as Android in terms of support Linux is going to get.

Don't bother with "but but", this is a high level view.
... but developers are learning to make games running on Linux. No games without developers.

Quoting: eldarionI really hope this fever will pass (no offense to the Steam Deckers out there).
I hope it doesn't. It's one of the biggest things to ever help Linux gaming as a whole, and any games I write about would work on a Linux desktop too.
Only time will tell. It's just that recently the news here looked too much as a Valve PR satalite then a Linux gaming news site. More about steam deck itself and less about actual games.
Don't you think a successful dedicated gaming device running Linux and hundreds, soon thousands of games verified to run on Linux and what most probably will be number one on many game of the years lists running on Linux at least as good as (supposedly better than) on Windows is like medium important for the topic at hand, "gaming on Linux"?
