Quoting: liamdaweAccording to a PC Gamer writer who had an info sheet from Valve, Linux is included alongside Windows and Mac: https://www.reddit.com/r/Artifact/comments/836002/tim_from_pc_gamer_here_just_posted_my_artifact/dvfcwpk/ [External Link]
I didn't have a second of doubt.

"We've always been a little bit jealous of companies like Nintendo," Newell said. "When Miyamoto is sitting down and thinking about the next version of Zelda or Mario, he's thinking what is the controller going to look like, what sort of graphics and other capabilities. He can introduce new capabilities like motion input because he controls both of those things. And he can make the hardware look as good as possible because he's designing the software at the same time that's really going to take advantage of it. So that is something we've been jealous of, and that's something that you'll see us taking advantage of subsequently."
Erm... Does this sound like "We're going to make a console." to you, too?

I doubt there's a market for a card game that's not free to play.
But well, they can always change that later on...
(Myself, I'm not into this card game stuff at all.)

Quoting: Purple Library GuyBut information in the modern world is infinitely reproducible for almost zero effort. The barter model of one thing for another thing is based on me giving you a thing which I then no longer have.
That's still what is happening. Many users are giving money for a game, together (hopefully) compensating for the part of their lifetime the developers invested in making it and no longer have.

Quoting: gustavoyaraujoI don't know about you guys. But 90% of my Linux issues are related to updating nvidia drivers.
I wonder why. I got so many problems with e. g. printer and Wifi USB stick support, but Nvidia drivers just work like a charm (Debian here).

Something interesting has been brought up in a Steam forum:

So I wonder if WINE and Windows usage are more or less to be added.
As you got the data, would you produce numbers of people which are dual booting or using WINE versus those that don't to either?

If you don't intend to carry something around in order to whip it out and play on it, you wouldn't be interested in this product at all - or any other mobile gaming product.
Not really, I guess he pointed out the controller as an extra device to carry in order to play.
I guess you'd carry a phone either way, so it's either two devices(1) or... two(2).

(1) Smach and phone
(2) controller and phone

Quoting: GuestDoes buying the experimental Linux port of Arma 3 count as a Linux game sale? I don't dual boot with Windows but I ask because the Steam Store page of Arma 3 only shows the Windows icon.
I guess so (there's been reports about sales accounted as Linux for games that had no Linux version at all), but user jaycee should be able to clarify.
