It seems they've built in a media discontinuity:
You have to scan stuff with a smartphone to get some items.
Oh what a stupid idea...!

Quoting: LinasI personally did not enjoy To the Moon. Not saying it is bad, but it is more of an interactive story than a game.
Just when I had finished it, I wrote a review:
It is pixely, it is ugly, scrolling is bad, controlling is broken, path finding doesn't work, the puzzles are unnecessary, pacing is bad, the action scenes are nonsense, the jokes sometimes queasy...
... but it's a wonderful game about life, love and death.

Well pardon my French, but no shit, really? I seriously question the intelligence of a developer that would think it was that simple.
I would guess this is aimed at all those none-developers who actually think it's that easy. You can find lots of them in the Steam forums...

That must be a self-extracting complete minimal Linux!
One moment...

Quoting: LinasThis does look cool. Although the thing that tends to discourage me from buying these kind of games is that there are quite many of them. On the surface they look so similar that it makes it very hard to choose. Not something I thought I would complain about, but here I am.
Many people tend to debase user reviews. I think if you take them and look out for a good percentage (anything with many reviews and say 95% positives?), you ought to find something that makes most people liking such games - like, yourself - happy. Then you could look out for a well rated negative review and see if the negative aspects would hurt you.
