Quoting: JanneI saw the title and started hyperventilating a little. World of Goo is one of my top games of all time.
Hyperventilating nails it. I could hardly believe! Such memories. :heart:

Xorg is dead, long live Wayland - Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) dropping Xorg

Quoting: ShmerlPoint of Debian is a moot thing. A lot of people use Sid or testing for desktop purposes. You wouldn't want to use Debian stable for that purpose at all.
But... I do & I'm happy with it. :)

Quoting: ShmerlThere is an explicit setting for keeping those clipboards separate or not. I usually keep them separate same as X11 does:
Nice!

It would probably need three more decades to get used to it, but then, having one clipboard and not two depending on which keys you used does sound reasonable!

Is the option Wayland only?

To be honest, I expect it to be good, not bad, but somewhat ugly.
I'd bet 20 bucks on this.

Quoting: ObscureThe stats they show only add up to 95.43% so is it safe to say the other 4.57% were from Linux users across all the various distros?
They also only show Windows 10 and 11, I would assume they have many players on earlier editions.
i thought Steam no longer works on 7? And would anyone seriously stay on 8.x?
I think that's with the beginning of next year. We saw some of them (not many though) on the Steam for Linux forums. Though tbh I am not sure I want people who run operating systems without security support to switch to Linux now. One of them explicitly said they don't want to do any os updates...

PipeWire 1.0 is out now for modern Audio and Video on Linux

Quoting: WorMzyStill not sure what advantages this gives over PulseAudio, but it seems to be pretty embedded in the Arch package ecosystem (it's been present on my system as an unconfigured dependency for something else since mid-2018):

$ pactree -rs pipewire | wc -l
2409
$ pactree -rs pulseaudio | wc -l
105

Guess it's time to take a look and see what all the excitement is about.
It's even in Debian stable, and upgraded from PulseAudio by default, so yes, I guess it's time. :D

Diablo IV free to play on Steam until Tuesday

Have you been playing it? What's your current thoughts on it?
I've never played any Diablo before. When trying this, I did like it... but I hated that I, The Only One To Save Em All, met Moron55 and all these other ones to save em all. And it's not possible to switch it off.
