I tried the demo, seemed to work all well natively. The protagonist was walking way too fast though?!?

Ubuntu 23.10 download got pulled down due to a malicious translation

Quoting: SalvatosAnd this is why I'm always a little dubious when companies ask for crowdsourced translations and don't even hire professional reviewers. It's hard enough to ascertain you're getting quality work from professionals in a language you can't even read, but there's really nothing stopping random schmoes from pulling stunts like these if you don't even check.
I was taking part in the crowd sourced translation of Wasteland 2 to German, and while I didn't see something malicious, the result was so bad that I ended up (content spoiled of course and) playing the game in English. There was especially one person which was very diligent, but not very good at it.

Quoting: EhvisThe most interesting thing I see on the store page is that this new DLC is not actually listed in the "Content for this game" section. Didn't that was even possible. It is listed in the bundle though, so I can still confirm its existence!

Such a sad thing to read.

I don't think this is a thing here (Germany), one "can't afford University". (Some exceptions probably exist.)

After over 80 weeks the Steam Deck leaves the top 10 global sellers on Steam

Quoting: sarmadKeep in mind that "globally" doesn't actually mean globally since the Steam Deck isn't selling in every territory, with big markets still left out.
So the place it had is even more amazing...

Quoting: fleskLooks interesting, and so does their previous game, which I hadn't heard of before I read this article.
To be honest, I found the previous one... bland.

There also was one specific thing I disliked: I'm not overly happy to be taught by a game to dump waste in the bin. The cause is fine, but... no. But am I really supposed to do that when I need to rescue somebody urgently?!?

Quoting: F.UltraHere in Sweden the music producers managed to keep this tax going to modern media so they get a cut of external HDD:s, cell phones and SD cards.

Puny Human closing after a client 'refused previously agreed-upon payments'

Quoting: Purple Library Guyand Germany's not doing well because of expensive/scarce natural gas due to geopolitical reasons
... which we're depending on more than we should.

But I found these GNP numbers:
2022 +1.9
Q1 23 -0,1
Q2 23 0,0
Predicted 23 -0,4
Predicted 24 +1,4
Predicted 25 +1,2

So I've got hopes we don't bring trouble to (gaming) world economy. ;-)

Back in the late nineties, a customer of the little company I worked for called: He asked us to write the bill now, so he could pay us at last. Those were the days, my friend!
