Thank you for your agreement your posts are a bad-faith effort to distract (via minutia) from the original point
You're clearly not using your reading skills properly.

But... if you really believe "oppositition to diversity is sexism", are you opposed to diversity or are you not?

To help out your understanding, from Wikipedia: "Diversity (business), the inclusion of people of different identities (ethnicity, gender, age) in the workforce". As it's about a lot more than gender, the opposite obviously cannot be called "sexism". You talked much about a word you didn't understand properly.

Quoting: medicalcannabisoppositition to diversity is sexism, right?
Nope.

You didn't understand diversity.
Like, not at all.

But... if you really believe "oppositition to diversity is sexism", are you opposed to diversity or are you not?

Quoting: medicalcannabiswas to accuse this account of an *-ism [...] which you initially denied was the intent of your original reply.
It still wasn't. As said:

Quoting: EikeNobody talked about isms either.
Neither explicit nor implied.
You brought this up, not me.

Quoting: medicalcannabisForgive this account for assuming you're continuing to act on bad faith and focusing a third reply on a parenthesis which was adequately explained, rather than address the original argument that CDPR is dying due to a lack of talent.
I was addressing the original post. The parenthesis was part of it. I'm choosing which parts of a post I answer to. Not sorry.

Quoting: medicalcannabisDue to your lack of argument over my statement over HR practices explaining the parenthetical
This "explanation" offered nothing that hadn't been obvious by the bracket: You are opposed to diversity and see it as hurting. I won't discuss this here (and Liam wouldn't let us for long either).

Quoting: medicalcannabisto a dismissal over a perceived social slight.
I don't understand this part in the context (not a native speaker). Be invited to not explain it.

Quoting: medicalcannabisOtherwise, why ignore the rest of the post and focus on what is in the parenthesis only?
Because the parenthesis so much didn't match all the rest that it had to be pointed at. While I also disagree with the rest (being software developer as well), such regressive stances should not go through unchallenged.

What?
HR is hiring to meet quotas, rather than on talent. As a meritocratic system falls and a system of equity rises, talent fades from a studio. If you view this as an *-ism, you're incorrectly reducing a 3-paragraph argument to an out-of-context quote in order to dismiss it.
There wasn't any 3-paragraph argument about diversity. Your bracketed comment was out of context. Nobody talked about isms either.

Geeze. What if you don't even own a seal?
I wonder if there's any valid excuse for not owning a seal, though.

Thoughts on the official Steam Deck Docking Station
28 Oct 2022 at 11:59 am UTC

Quoting: michaI have the official Steam Deck Docking Station station as well and I believe most issues come from the low power supply unit.

I exchanged the included 45W one (same as the one the Steam Deck ships) with a 90W charger. Since then the issues with displays and other peripheral reduced a lot. Not 100% perfect but before it was almost unusable.
Only makes sense if you'd power your monitor over the Dock/charger, I guess?

Wonderful looking puzzle adventure Harmony's Odyssey lands on Linux / Steam Deck

Quoting: AnzaI played the demo some time ago and it's quite relaxed and easy game. Might be suitable for somebody who would be way too frustrated with regular puzzle games.
Thanks for pointing out. Doesn't sound like it could give me the "I'm the greatest!" feeling, like say Portal Stories: MEL in original/hard mode. :)

Steam Deck UI comes to Desktop in Beta to replace Big Picture Mode

Quoting: CybolicIf you like using something like the Plex Media Player instead of mpv or the "party" mode on various media players, then the new Steam Deck UI could fit you. It doesn't necessarily have any major features that the "small picture mode" hasn't, but the feel is different. For me, it was a nice way to put myself into gaming mode - no distractions, no window handling, just games.
That's well said. :)
I don't usually use BPM; but what I do to get myself into gaming mode is fullscreen gaming and (usually) no alt-tabbing.

I still got the first one from some early bundle, probably a Humble one, and never tried it...
