I have it, the problem is the Graphics card:

"ATI Radeon HD4850 -OR- GeForce GTX 295 (Does not support Intel Integrated Graphics Cards)"

Anyone knows a Linux typing game usable on Intel Integrated?
You could alway play ZType [External Link], if you're into shooters.

I've had my fill of clerical and data entry work over the years, so I'd normally not even glance at this, but gaming to JoCo tunes? That's actually kind of appealing

Banished Linux port is pretty much complete, OpenGL performing well

I was given this for Xmas back in 2014, and I've been dying to play it ever since. I tried to install it with Wine, but the Steam version would run at a decent speed for about three minutes before slowing down and locking up, so I finally gave up. It'll be a real treat to finally get to play it.

Steam client stable build updated, lots of Steam Controller improvements

Ah, so that explains why Steam suddenly started trying to sell me Windows games on the front page.

Tomb Raider will release for Linux on April 1st (Correction: release date was a glitch)

"On April 1st, Tomb Raider takes the leap onto Linux. Nothing can protect you from the dangers in store, but we can at least test the waters for you. And the forests. And the mountains. To say nothing of the Tombs."
It makes sense that they say nothing of the tombs, on account of tombs being nearly nonexistent in the game. :P
And I bet you thought Final Fantasy was going to be the last one. :P :D :P :D

Hyper Light Drifter release date set for 31st of March, Linux should be a day 1 release
22 Mar 2016 at 3:18 pm UTC

Yes! I pre-ordered this almost two years ago during the Kickstarter finale party for Last Life (it had Linux listed as a platform at the time). Totally stoked for this release, end of the month can't come soon enough!

Bad luck for me that it's literally the day before the spring NaNoWriMo, that'll be a fun combination.

Life Is Strange looks like it's being ported to Linux by Feral Interactive

I didn't, because it's not on Linux

My favorite Let's Players didn't like it at all. Found it corny.

But many consider it to be very, very good. GOTY good.
96% positive Steam reviews - and yes, I do think with many reviews and such a positive number this actually means something.
And it's got the Game Developers Choice Audience Award.
From people I've talked to who have played it and otherwise liked it, the main criticism has been to do with the ending and the perpetuation of the

trope. But otherwise it's a really good game with characters that are easy to connect with.

Now that is a surprise. I'd asked the dev on Steam back when the first couple of episodes were out, and they said that it wouldn't be possible for this game due to middleware issues, but that they definitely wanted to make their next game fully cross-platform. Good to see there were ways around the problems, and hopefully they keep wanting to improve with the next effort.

I played American Truck Simulator on Linux, don't ever let me drive a real truck
8 Mar 2016 at 7:32 pm UTC

I spent two weeks riding in one of those trucks with my ex and her dog once, it was quite the experience. Those cabs are surprisingly comfortable, and a little effort makes the living quarters in the back quite liveable indeed. It'd be a tempting game just for the nostalgia value in my case, although it's a shame there aren't Canadian maps. A Toronto-Halifax run would be really challenging, especially with the hills involved and the perennially bad roads near Montreal.

What I'd love is a simulator game that takes something like Google Maps and allows you to drive around long distances on real roads. For a non-driver who would like that feeling of travel that would be ideal.

Totem Teller looks like a really sweet open world adventure game coming to Linux

This looks right up my alley so far. Signed up for email updates, i'm hopeful it'll be good.
