The Frictional Games teaser has grown again - oh no it's going to be a monster isn't it

Quoting: kusochiTo my knowledge this is what basically all tetrapods look like when they're fetuses, so there's no telling what it will look like mature.
Looking it up since it's been ages since I studied that stuff, it's not too different from a 3-week old human fetus, but maybe a little less lumpy. Could be another animal entirely, but my guess is probably a mammal.

Recent updates to Littlewood added a lot of bugs and a nervous looking Sea Monster

I bought Littlewood after Xmas and played a bunch of it. It's good, but nowhere near a complete game yet. There's a lot of content that's just placeholders promising more to come, and a lot of places that could use some polish. Most of the underlying systems are good, if a little grindy at times, and I like how the day passes not by time but by energy expended.

I figure it'll really be something special by summer or so.

Quoting: Laboratoryo_ni_NeilFeral Interactive needs to partner with other publishers such as BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment and CAPCOM.

Resident Evil 3 Remake and Dragon Ball FighterZ on Linux would be awesome.
How do you persuade these companies to even consider Linux? Square Enix shocked me when they teamed up with Feral Interactive in the first place giving us Life Is Strange and the Tomb Raider serials. No doubt it takes months of meetings, possibly begging in there somewhere too??
idk about SquEnix, but the Life Is Strange devs were showing interest from the first episode, save that the middleware they chose made it difficult. Even then, they were saying future projects would be done with Linux in mind.

Quoting: razing32Does the counter go down when you are not playing ?
"...you don't even need to play it to get to the ending" seems to imply that it does, and you can just play once then come back a little over a year later and you'll have won.

1. Subnautica (both games)
2. Any of the more recent Final Fantasy games
3. Um...Skyrim, I guess.

It looks pretty good, although some things definitely need tweaking. Whoever thought that white text on a mottled light blue background was a good idea needs to give their head a shake.

The final Act of Kentucky Route Zero will release January 28

Honestly, I'll believe it when I see it. Cardboard Computer burned all their goodwill years ago, as far as I'm concerned.

I expect any game they make in the future, particularly if it's episodic like this one, will be a hard sell indeed.

Slay the Spire's fourth character to be released on January 14

Quoting: morbiusLooking forward to trying the new character. Managed to beat act 3 with all three current characters, but I could beat the Corrupt Heart only with Silent, they've made the act 4 a lot harder than it needs to be.
I basically gave up on Act 4 entirely. It's honestly not fun, unless you're seriously into optimizing a build specifically for the final boss. So I write it off as optional and don't even bother trying any more.

I assume if you've beat the Act III boss with all three characters already, then you're all set to play the new character right away?

Not that replaying it a time or three would be a hardship, mind you.
